Sec. 59- County Government Act,2012

Include:

Establish and abolish offices in the county public service

1. Appoint persons to hold or act in offices of the county public service including in the Boards of the cities and urban areas within the county
2. Advise the county government on human resources management and development
3. Advise county governments on implementation and monitoring of the national performance management systems in counties
4. Make recommendations to Salaries and Remuneration Commission on behalf of the county government.
